When we moved to this townhome, there were no borders except in the form of rules. It was very plain offering no interest or ambiance to us or any opportunity for wildlife. It was grass only right up to the windows and patio. My husband fought the HOA and won approval to design this wonderful area that borders our townhome in the back.
The plantings are a work in progress. A lot of things that they say are full sun plants shrivel up or don’t do well in the heat no matter how much we water them or don’t water them, it’s a learning process.
I took this opportunity to try the landscape mode on my camera phone ~ I like it! Although, everything looks kind of small, hopefully you can feel the ambiance anyways.
We enjoy sitting out on this patio and watching everything grow in.
